Xiaomi 17T announcement

DroidApp has travelled to Vienna, as you could already read on our Instagram. This is not entirely without reason, as we are attending Xiaomi's new press conference. The manufacturer is using the slogan "The Moment Beyond Sight" for this announcement. Here, it becomes clear that we will see at least two smartphones: the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The two devices will once again feature the Leica branding, so we can expect a lot in terms of photography.

With these two models, there is already a successor to the Xiaomi 15T series, which was announced late last year. We gave the Xiaomi 15T Pro a positive review. In the process, the Xiaomi managed to win the award for best smartphone of 2025.

However, Xiaomi itself has already shared a hint of what else we can expect. Because it's not just the new T models that take centre stage. On its well-known social networks, Xiaomi shares that we are also going to see other new products. These include the Xiaomi Watch S5, Smart Band 10 and several new smart tech products. Tomorrow, of course, we will update you in detail.

However, you don't have to miss anything tomorrow, as you can also follow the livestream so you can be there digitally. The press conference starts today, 28 May, at 14:00 (Dutch time). You can watch the video for it directly below.
